Bernie Sanders NYC Fundraiser

Bernie Sanders NYC Fundraiser

Bernie Sanders talked a lot about the policies he vouches for and the changes he would like to bring about if he ever becomes the next President.

There was a crowd of more than a thousand spectators listening intently to his fundraising speech on Friday. The crowd was well-pleased and cheered at his wit, sarcasm, and absolute optimism about bringing a ‘revolution’ to American politics.

He did not accept the claim the made by the Wall Street journalists that his proposals were costly; in fact, he spoke about making public colleges free, increasing employment opportunities, and putting a standard healthcare system into practice.

Supporters of Sanders described his contention for the Presidency as a movement. They are absolutely positive about the policies he cares about and don’t really see anything negative about him. Many who were ‘feeling the burn’ decided to support Sanders even after they were undecided between choosing to support him or Hillary. As soon as they heard his message, they were hooked!

An unprecedented growth was seen in the polls shortly after Clinton announced her contention and after Sanders publicized his. He was just behind Hillary by about 20 points in overall and nationwide polls, but when you look at the earlier polls from areas such as Iowa or New Hampshire, Clinton’s candidacy seems at risk while that of Sander’s seems to grow stronger every day.

Bernie Sanders now leads by 10.5 points, after a drastic drop for Clinton and a very notable jump for Sanders.

Since the end of August, Sanders has been staying clear of Clinton in New Hampshire.

There is tough competition between Sanders and Clinton; both are very different from each other in gender, personality, fundraising strategies, and of course, the policies they care about.
