Donald Trump Gets Hit on Second Presidential Debate

It seems the ball is rolling and it is already decided which way it will turn. At least this seemed to be so after the second presidential debate organized by CNN this week. Little by little, Trump, the controversial presidential candidate, is showing the public his domination in speech and self-control.

Trump’s blustery personality, which is now his insignia, is growing stronger. The question remains if this will actually decrease his popularity.  This is something that is yet to be seen.

An important moment of the debate was when Jeb Bush demanded that Trump apologize to his wife; the insult apparently happened to be regarding Mexicans. However, Florida’s former governor did not insist and shrugged in resignation. This could possibly be seen as a sign of weakness and it allowed Trump to triumph. Nevertheless, the demand seemed to have caused Trump to falter as his remarks sometimes seemed to lack coherence, although there were some glimpses of lucidity.

Bush did mention how in the past Trump had offered him money to build a casino, which he refused he said. Trump denied it completely.

Trump’s speech continued to be against Iraq’s war and a direct criticism against Walker´s fiscal policies on Wisconsin. At Trump’s statement of America being a country where English is spoken, not Spanish, Bush retaliated with expressing how if someone addressed him in Spanish, he would reply in Spanish (Bush speaks Spanish well). Bush took the time to criticize Trump’s idea of building a huge wall and asked what Trump’s plans were to send millions of illegal immigrants back home.

Experts agree on the fact that Trump failed this test as his speech was not well-written and his defenses were weakly stated. At the end of the debate, candidates shook hands as a signal of friendship.
